One of my greatest passions in life is working with creatives to help make their dreams and projects come to life. I fully believe that creativity and writing is a team sport and a group practice, but I know that sometimes it’s hard to find that community.
Many folks who offer creative consulting charge $100+/hour to pick their brain, get feedback, bounce ideas off of them. I think this is a great idea and I completely support it (and if you want to pay me $100 to chat about creativity, sign me tf up). But I also understand that for many of us who are just starting out in our creative careers, it’s not possible to pay that much for a sounding board or advice.
That’s why I am offering Office Hours to paid subscribers of The Mood Board. As part of your paid subscription (only $5/month!), you can come to Office Hours every Thursday for an hour to chat, cowork, and create with me and any other creatives who show up. If you want to talk through a project, talk about starting a Substack of your own, get feedback on your resume (I weirdly love doing this), bounce ideas off me for pitches or short stories or Instagram posts or literally anything, or just chat about creativity, I’ll be there for an hour for just that.
